ISLAMIC UNION IS AN URGENT NEED

Islamic Unity has been and will be the most important issue of all Muslims in every period of history and today.

The fragmentation of Muslims and their division into factions is a situation brought about by historical events and facts, and the source of these disputes is not the religion of Islam itself. This distinction between the history of Muslims and Islam is very important. History is not just a series of thoughts, beliefs and events. One must first be in favour of separatism so that thoughts and beliefs can be formed that can result in this and make it possible.

The Umayyads felt the need to divide the Ummah in order to consolidate their power. Therefore, they emphasised such ideas and beliefs that they were instrumental in splitting the ummah into factions. The role played by the Umayyads in this field is similar to the role played by the Saud family today. In the same way, the propaganda of nationalism and nationalism by the western states confronts the Islamic world with new divisions and fragmentations.

The unity of the Islamic Ummah is not a philosophical or theological issue. The more the Ummah endeavours to establish a universal Islamic unity, the closer it is to wahdat. There is no other practical measure of wahdat and unity. According to this criterion, we must say that there is complete unity among the Ummah. Naturally, not all the elements that make up the ummah have been involved in this process with the same consciousness and awakening. However, this does not mean that the Ummah is not in unity. The fact that all these elements are moving in the same direction, albeit at different speeds, is sufficient to say that the Ummah is in unity. It must be said that there are some structural obstacles in front of this unity, which constitute great obstacles to the awareness of Muslims. For example, in states where Islamic parties existed before the Islamic revolution, these organisations show structural resistance to change. For example, this is quite evident in Pakistan and Malaysia. In the Arab world, with the lessons learnt from the Islamic revolution, the Islamic movement in Egypt has taken the form of a political party. In this country, the 'Muslim Brotherhood' movement has failed in its efforts to establish an Islamic state in the old way. Nevertheless, the people, especially the youth, have organised themselves into independent congregations and are continuing this cause.

This new movement encompasses the whole people and has no organisation or party. It is impossible for a non-religious state to suppress and eliminate such a movement. Arrests, torture, executions and killings have the opposite effect of what these states want. As the Savak experience has shown in Iran.

The West's resistance to these movements itself shows that this theory is correct. The West's support for the Muslim governments in countries such as Pakistan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia is the most obvious indication of the West's involuntary reaction in this direction. The pressures that force Arab governments to surrender to Israel are another indication of this situation. But in fact, all these efforts are aimed at protecting their own borders against Islam. But it is clear that these efforts will ultimately be fruitless.

But in all these cases the West behaves like a dignified woman who is also a prostitute. The West has lost all its moral principles in Bosnia. All the values for which the West set the whole world on fire and fought for are now buried in the graves of Bosnia. The fact that they say that this war is a civil war is nothing but a big lie. In fact, this war is nothing but the official encroachment of one country on the borders of another country. The Serbs in Bosnia are to Serbia as the Germans in Austria are to Nazi Germany. This is nothing but the official rape of another country by a country that wants to recapture its ancient expansion areas. In fact, this war, which was waged with the aim of exterminating the Muslims in Europe, was also an indication of the West's diseased bloodshed. Now the West has started to play another dangerous game, which is to break Bosnia into pieces and thus try to protect the West from the possible dangers it may cause in the future. Those who are sitting in their mansions should not throw stones. But this is exactly what the West did in Bosnia and elsewhere. The West has repeatedly managed to escape the consequences of its own mistakes. They created the United Nations in 1945 in order to perpetuate the gains of the war. Just as they had wanted to do before by creating the League of Nations.

If we wish to derive a general principle from the history of wars, it is that history abhors such dispositions as perpetuate the gains of war. And history only rarely permits such a thing. The victors of wars, confident of this result and believing that they will never be defeated again, begin to take steps to perpetuate these victories. The members of the Security Council of the United Nations organisation are the victors of the Second World War, and they have tried to use their superiority to make changes in different parts of the world in accordance with their own interests. But in the end the USA had to taste defeat in Vietnam.

For the Soviets, the defeat in Afghanistan brought worse consequences. The Soviet defence system was more powerful than any empire or state in history. It also possessed high technology, unlimited armed forces and chemical weapons. Despite all this, the Soviets were forced to surrender and leave the country in the face of attacks by the Afghan mujahideen. The changes in borders since 1989 have been greater than those that took place between 1939 and 1945. The view that national borders can only be changed by wars needs to be reconsidered. The idea that superpowers cannot be defeated in wars has long since been discredited. When the Somalis destroyed two helicopters with twelve Americans on board, America was forced to withdraw all its troops from Somalia. In Palestine, the powerful Hezbollah has forced Israel to agree to participate in peace talks. Otherwise there would be no one left to recognise Israel's military gains and the legitimacy of its artificial borders. Never in its short history has Israel been so weak and powerless as when it signed peace with the Palestinian liberation organisation. Neither the United Nations treaties nor the big armed forces saved the United States from defeat in Vietnam or the Soviets from a major defeat in Afghanistan. After these defeats, the decline and disintegration of both superpowers began.

In Western Europe, Germany's defeat in 1945 produced the opposite result to what was expected. Expectations were that Germany would never be able to establish a union again. Because there was an assumption that the great powers would never allow it. Accordingly, West Germany would always melt into the Western Union and be neutralised. Within 50 years, however, the exact opposite of what the victors of the war had planned had occurred. The reunification of Germany clearly demonstrated how the policy of the victors did not lead to the desired results. Thus, despite the idea that western unity would continue, the reality of Germany once again came to the centre of western politics. Every change in Europe's borders after the two world wars has shown that the policy of the victors did not have the expected results.

Let us now recall the colonial past of the West; the colonial powers destroyed ancient traditions and their institutions and caused a dissolution in the world of values. Europeans considered everything and everyone they encountered outside the West as savage and barbaric. Therefore, they considered it their duty to modernise this ancient world. The Westerners' efforts in this direction led them to destroy everything that belonged to the past and to build new social and political institutions in their place. Moreover, they presented this to the world as 'the burden on the shoulders of white people'. The West tried to replace the ancient institutions and values they destroyed with their own. Thus, by establishing educational institutions, they started to raise the educated and ruling elites of the future, and it is mostly from among them that Muslims are ruled today. Europe undertook the task of preaching new values in place of these ancient institutions and values. To this end, rationalism, scientism, religious liberalism, naturalism and even moral corruption were presented to the old world as new and modern concepts and institutions. The views of Sigmund Freud were used to free young people from the influence of traditional ideas. The institution of the family, which is formed by marriage, has also been the target of attacks, and today there is not much left of it. Darwin's views on evolution also reduced man to an accidental creature with no purpose or goal other than to satisfy his desires.  Such a creature no longer felt responsible for its own behaviour and had no need for moral principles and values. Political considerations advised man to use every means for his material well-being. Thus, killing men, women and children was no different from killing an animal or insect. This paved the way for the creation of lethal weapons. Thus, countless chemical weapons were created. Nationalism, fascism, Marxism, capitalism, capitalism, old and new colonialism in all their varieties were built on such intellectual and philosophical foundations and became popular and established in many parts of the world. This dough, with the co-operation of Christianity, which is intertwined with schools such as Marxism and nationalism, and with the tribalisms, has brought forth people such as Stalin, Milosevic, Hitler and Karadzic with the title of the devil.

What they call the new world order is in fact the same as the old order in which the powerful have everything they want, and they want all their practices and methods to be accepted as acceptable and legitimate. They create institutions for this purpose. Just like the organisation of the United Nations. The purpose of all these practices is to ensure the preservation of the existing borders unless it is in their interest to do so. This is what is currently being played out by the UN in Bosnia and Palestine. The concept of "security of the general public" is nothing but a superstitious notion. Even in its most acceptable sense, this concept has no content other than protecting the interests of the West.

Now is the time to take the field and endeavour to eliminate the mental boundaries and western-dependent governments among Muslims. The supremacy established by the West over the Islamic world in the XXth century is coming to an end. In this respect, the domination of the West over the Muslim nations is heading towards extinction, never to return again. The political goals of Islam have been defined in a clear and understandable manner. Therefore, I do not see any benefit in repeating them here. The way and method of creating a 'global Islamic movement' is also known. The great advantage of the Islamic movement is that it has many different methods and forms that have emerged in different parts of the Islamic world.

Although the West may not like it, the time is drawing near when many changes will take place in the East. Islam will play a decisive role in determining the history of the world in the next twenty, fifty and one hundred years. Naturally, the West will do its best to prevent these developments as it has always done. It goes without saying that the Islamic world or the 'global Islamic movement' will do its best to frustrate these efforts of the West. Thus, it will endeavour to take Muslims and their interests out of the hands of the western dependent usurpers. Muslims also have a duty to fulfil the call of Islam in order to prevent the moral degeneration that has taken place in the heart of western civilisation.
