As the Islamic Unity Foundation, we aim to:
Establish, operate, and sustain universities, colleges, institutes, academies, high schools, vocational and technical high schools, primary schools, and kindergartens in our country and other Islamic countries;
Support associate, undergraduate, and graduate education; encourage and assist all kinds of scientific studies and research for public and private institutions and organizations;
Cooperate with foundations and international institutions and organizations established or to be established at home and abroad for similar purposes;
Implement scientific, vocational, and applied education programs, courses, and skill development projects; carry out initiatives for enhancing the level of education through support and collaboration;
Conduct or sponsor research aimed at the development of science and education; take actions to help implement the most advanced educational systems in institutions both in Turkey and abroad;
Provide in-kind and financial assistance to owners and producers of scientific and artistic works at home and abroad in line with the Foundation’s objectives; organize national and international competitions in the fields of thought, art, science, and education, and grant awards;
Publish, reproduce, and broadcast works deemed to be of scientific value in the fields of education and solidarity at home and abroad, and establish the necessary facilities for such activities;
Provide financial and in-kind assistance, including scholarships, to hardworking, talented, and successful young people with limited financial means;
Support the moral development of youth as upright citizens, enable them to participate in sports, enhance their scientific and artistic talents, organize seminars and courses, establish relevant facilities, and contribute to existing ones;
Construct, purchase, rent, operate, and manage institutions such as dormitories, homes, and hostels to meet the accommodation needs of students and orphaned children;
Open, operate, and manage nurseries;
Provide scientists, educators, and students with working spaces and opportunities in the fields of science, culture, education, and solidarity in order to generate sustainable income for the Foundation;
Organize all kinds of courses; provide scholarships, loans, and sponsorships; prepare economic opportunities that enable beneficiaries to evaluate their output; establish economically-oriented studios, workshops, workplaces, and similar enterprises; carry out commercial activities in this context; offer consultancy services; establish and participate in facilities such as cafeterias, patisseries, hostels, hotels, motels, campsites, all types of businesses and enterprises;
Organize fairs, markets, fundraising events (kermes), and similar activities at home and abroad; establish and operate distribution centers, mobile or permanent sales and marketing units, halls, shops, galleries, and similar venues;
Import, export, and engage in wholesale and retail trade of electronic equipment, computers, printers, plotters, practical training devices, laboratory materials, chemical substances used in laboratories, and all types of educational tools and machines, to be used in private schools established by the Foundation;
Purchase, sell, import, and export all kinds of publications issued periodically or otherwise—such as books, magazines, encyclopedias, newspapers, bulletins, brochures, printed documents, and other intellectual or artistic products;
Establish various educational facilities such as courses, summer schools, and camps related to education and solidarity; organize workshops, seminars, and meetings; identify young talents and provide them with opportunities to create;
Provide and receive consultancy services to and from all kinds of institutions and individuals, whether public or private, in the fields of education and solidarity;
Publish all kinds of periodical and non-periodical materials—such as newspapers, books, magazines, brochures, encyclopedias, calendars, postcards, CDs, and cassettes—to inform the public of the Foundation’s objectives and developments; establish translation bureaus and publishing houses, and collaborate with national and international publishers;
Disseminate and promote the Foundation’s activities through digital media and online platforms.
