ISLAMIC UNITY IS A SUBLIME FEELING

Islamic Unity is one of the most sublime feelings in the minds of the believers, the dust on which must be removed, stimulated and mobilised. Muslims who do not have the ideal, excitement and feeling of Islamic Unity are not fully aware of their life in the world. Yes, they are as if they are the representatives of the dead. It is inconceivable that Allah (swt) will look upon such people with mercy. A Muslim who does not devote himself to telling and spreading the glorious name of Allah Almighty, i.e. i'layi kelimetullah, is considered to be aimless, aimless and is no different from inanimate beings. A Muslim gains vitality to the extent that he carries the spirit of unity with his religious brothers and sisters and strives for it. It is only through jihad for this cause that he can revive and protect himself, his family and his nation. True resurrection can only be realised through this jihad. And the greatest, holiest, most productive and most fruitful step taken by man is the step he takes in the direction of struggle and struggle.

One of the most remarkable characteristics of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.s.) among his general reforms is that he raised a society and an active cadre who were not afraid of death, who did not turn away from the path they knew to be right, and who were as alive as possible. This society was constantly thinking of fighting for their beliefs and they even realised the secret of immortality in this way. Thanks to jihad in the way of Allah (swt), their books would not be closed until the Day of Judgement and they would live forever. How can we call them 'dead' when we and all future generations will always remember them with good deeds because of the dangers they endured for the sake of Islam, even if they are dead in material terms?

Islamic unity is an obligation for the continuation of the dominance of the religion of Islam on earth and for the Muslims to live with dignity (honour). If there is no Islamic community, if there is no team of volunteers dedicated to their nation and devoted to their nation to carry out this work in a Muslim society - and the Qur'an says,  'Let it be'[1] - there is no Islamic life. Even if there is personal Islam, it is insecure and unsupported. Even if Muslims go to conquer the heavens and bind the stars together, when they abandon this mission, they will go down again. Advances in technique, technology and industry alone cannot pull Muslims out of the pit they have fallen into. Islamic Unity is an obligatory duty. However, if this duty is not carried out systematically by anyone and is neglected completely, as is the case today, then it becomes an obligatory obligation and every Muslim is responsible for it individually.

The Islamic state must also systematically wage jihad in all its forms and carry out the declared jihad at least once a year. If it fails to do so, the president and rulers of the state are responsible in the sight of Allah (swt). Sometimes the army takes on the task of jihad against the nafs, sometimes the security forces and both of them wage material jihad against external and internal attacks, sedition and terrorist activities, kill and neutralise the enemies of Islam, and sometimes they themselves become martyrs and veterans. The jihad of a military nation, on the other hand, includes its region and the whole earth. It is the element of security and balance in its region and on earth. Allah (swt) has imposed this mission on him.

However, the fact that it can be an element of balance on earth depends on the fact that it recognises this work as the most sacred, the greatest and the most important duty. Unless there is a nation that takes such a duty upon itself, it is not possible to talk about balance on earth. It is a pity that for 2-3 centuries the believers have become the pawns of others' balances and have not been able to catch their real place in the balance. The mosque and masjid of the believer have become places for the old, the lethargic and the slothful, the tekke and the zawiya have become places where people who lack love sleep and sleep, the madrasah has become a place where scholastic Western culture is taught, and the believers, in this state, have become people who explain their problems in the abysses of ancient times. And of course, as people who lacked understanding of their times, they could not put any weight in the political, economic and military balances in the world. I think there is not much to be done in the name of Islam after not being able to get ahead of the century in modern techniques and technology, not living a life at the level of the Sahaba in love and ecstasy, and not exhibiting a servitude at the level of worship and obedience of the tabi'in in terms of contact with Allah (swt). Because a person who does not live his century, who cannot offer solutions and intervene in his problems and troubles according to his own century, can never do anything in the name of Islam.

Every individual and nation that bears Islamic honour and pride must see itself as responsible for jihad in order to realise Islamic unity. Individuals and nations who do not feel such a responsibility cannot be said to have any share of Islamic honour and pride.

Islamic Unity is such a duty and responsibility that a community must devote itself to this work and make a 'ribat'. Thus, all kinds of material and spiritual attacks from internal and external enemies will be prevented and the whole nation will be saved from all kinds of disasters and dangers by means of these 'uyûn-u sahire' (vigilant eyes). The seconds of people who are in this endeavour are counted as years, and years are as blessed as centuries. They are the fortunate ones who have caught eternity while they are still in the world. Since they have turned their lives into a foundation, their eating, drinking, sleeping and sleeping will always be accepted as worship.

The Islamic Union is such a great ideal that it can create a civilisation that is greater, more beneficial to humanity, more fundamental and more lasting than the civilisation of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. Since the present Christian and European civilisation is based on the 'Dominance of the Strong', it is an obstacle to the spread of true civilisation. The virtuous civilisation to be established by the Islamic Union is superior to this civilisation. The compassionate treatment of Christians by both the Ottoman and Andalusian states should not be forgotten.[2]

The ideal of Islamic Unity does not only aim at the happiness of Muslims in this world and the hereafter. This air of love, peace and happiness to be realised in the Islamic world is aimed at the peace of the whole humanity by spreading ring by ring and encompassing the whole world. For this reason, no human regime or ideology has been able to achieve this lofty goal of the Islamic Union in terms of level and scope. This goal is not a dream and utopia that cannot be realised. It is an environment that all humanity is looking forward to. Muslims have established this world many times, starting with the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s.), starting from asr-ı saadet.
