The Islamic Unity Foundation has been established and operates with the following objectives:

1. To encourage, strengthen, and develop unity, solidarity, brotherhood, cooperation, and mutual assistance among Muslims in our country and around the world;

2. To ensure unity of action among Muslims in religious, political, economic, health-related, social, cultural, scientific, and other vital fields, and to provide consultative services within international organizations;

3. To work towards the elimination of all forms of racial, linguistic, religious, and color discrimination, and to completely eradicate colonialism in all its forms from the earth;

4. To establish the necessary principles for supporting international peace and security based on justice;

5. To cooperate in the protection and preservation of sacred places, to support the freedom struggles of Muslim communities across the world, to help them regain their rights and freedoms in their own lands, and to ensure the sustainability of these rights;

6. To support the struggle of all Muslims in defending their fundamental rights and freedoms, their honor, independence, and national rights, and to foster mutual assistance;

7. To create a suitable atmosphere that enhances cooperation, solidarity, and mutual understanding among all Muslims;

8. To safeguard international peace and security, to take effective joint measures to prevent and counter threats to peace, to suppress acts of aggression or other breaches of peace, and to peacefully resolve or settle international disputes or situations likely to endanger peace in accordance with justice and international law;

9. To support and invest in educational opportunities for youth and adults across the Islamic world — whom we entrust with our future — to raise awareness, improve educational levels, accelerate development, and enlighten all segments of society through solidarity; to assist young people’s education by establishing and operating kindergartens, nurseries, primary schools, vocational and technical high schools, high schools, vocational colleges, and universities, or by participating in the operation of such institutions;

10. To raise awareness among Muslims about living in accordance with Islamic principles; to support individuals and institutions working to serve Islam; to facilitate cooperation and the sharing of experience among them; to develop and implement new methods of Islamic outreach; to improve the level of education, instruction, communication, and culture in Islamic countries and Muslim societies; to promote unity and solidarity among Muslims worldwide through the contribution of Muslim leaders; to spread the teaching of Arabic as the common language of Muslims; to organize educational and enlightening gatherings; to publish informative content; to train educated and conscious personnel; to provide scholarships for such personnel; to contribute to the construction of new mosques by strengthening the role of mosques in Muslims’ lives; and to meet the needs of Muslims who have fallen into hardship due to economic reasons, wars, or natural disasters.
